Ride the lightning

On a recent trip to the Highveld I was caught in a lightning storm.

The inland parts of South Africa is known for the thunder and lightning that goes with rain storms.

I took this photo between 2 small towns in the North West Province Stilfontein and Potchefstroom.

This was the last BIG lightning strike before the heavens opened up and the rain came down hard.
