Why make flying poop?

The South African Kellogg's company released a TV advert featuring kids on flying grains of Coco Pops...
that sounds all very well, but did nobody tell them that it looks like kids riding turds!!??

Ride the lightning

On a recent trip to the Highveld I was caught in a lightning storm.

The inland parts of South Africa is known for the thunder and lightning that goes with rain storms.

I took this photo between 2 small towns in the North West Province Stilfontein and Potchefstroom.

This was the last BIG lightning strike before the heavens opened up and the rain came down hard.

More Food !!!

More food inspired by Francis the host of Cooking with Dog.

We started boiling our vegetables in stock, Dashi Stock and other broths.

Also we managed to get Chinese Spinach; it works brilliantly in our Asian dishes!
